Hope: Train journies are fun , but they are particularly intresting when u have co passengers like a friend did, now this Bengali patriarch wasnt (or more alarmingly , was)aware that the petite looking girl next berth is one of the most fiercely independant souls he will ever come across in his unchallenged life, and he was discussing with his earnestly wannabe MCP crony , how he would rather choke on his ilish mach than work under a woman, then he went onto advice his mesmerised chela how to deal with errant daughters in law and nagging wives(a hotline to the divorce lawyer being the brilliant idea) ,my friend was having the time of her life , being subjected to such blatant and raw sexism , she did what any self respecting intelligent feminist would do, sit back and enjoy the show....
Sugar: But you have to take into consideration his socio economical condition , blah, blah, blah , blah....

mach in bangla means fish. ilish is a kind of fish and it is generally thought to be good. chela is a boy. correct me if i'm wrong, bangla speakers!

uh well u r right about the ilish maach bit(ilish is so intinsic to the bengali culture that its used as a metaphor) but when i used chela i meant it in the hindi sense(i.e. disciple)and the bengali word for a boy is chele ...presuming u r a non bong i am impressed with ur knowledge of the language jm.
l>t bengal is a state in the eastern part of the country, and in india states are not just states they are ways of life...
ok arguements here are not arguements its self intospection. ur accusation of me being biased to hope is really amusing because i really am not all that proud of the hope in me...as far as drowning sugar's arguement in blah blahs well blame it on my post moredern upbringing where oft repeated parroted words are nothing but gibberish...

Who cares about misspelling? sometimes I put a little (sp) symbol or (?) as apology. The problem is we don't always have time or inclination to fix errors.
